Does it work without internet?
Yes — fully. TradesBill is a local-first app. All your invoices, clients, and catalog are stored on your device using your browser's built-in storage. You can create invoices, generate PDFs, and record payments with zero internet connection. On the Pro plan, your data syncs to the cloud when you're back online.
Are TradesBill invoices ATO-compliant?
Yes. Every PDF includes your ABN, the label "Tax Invoice", the date, a description of goods or services, the GST amount shown separately, and the total amount. This meets the ATO's requirements for a valid tax invoice. TradesBill is not a registered tax agent — BAS reports are a reference tool only and should be reviewed by your accountant.
Can I use it on my phone?
Yes. TradesBill is a Progressive Web App (PWA) — tap "Add to Home Screen" on iOS Safari or Android Chrome and it installs like a native app. It works on any device with a modern browser: phone, tablet, or desktop.
What's the difference between Free and Pro?
The Free plan stores all data locally on one device — it's completely free forever with no credit card. Pro adds cloud backup and sync across all your devices (phone, tablet, and computer), a custom business logo on PDFs, BAS-ready tax summary reports, and custom PDF templates. Pro is $9/month or $89/year with a 14-day free trial.
Is my data safe?
On the Free plan, all data is stored locally on your device and never leaves it. On Pro, data syncs to secure cloud infrastructure (Supabase), encrypted in transit and at rest. Your data is user-isolated — no other user can access your invoices or clients. You can export all your data to JSON at any time from Settings.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel anytime from the Customer Portal — no questions asked, no cancellation fees. Your data stays on your device and can be exported at any time. After cancellation, cloud sync stops but your local data remains intact.
